I've been taking photos since my Mum and Dad bought me my first camera, I love it. I've set up this blog to show my photos, rather than leave them on my Mac and they never see the light of day. Photography is subjective, it sparks conversion and the imagination and mostly I like taking them. I am working towards living the dream but in the meantime this is the blog.....

Photography: Bosherston Lilly Ponds, National Trust
A great walk around the lilly ponds, unfortunately we didn't see any otters. Highlights below;
We did however, see this cheeky squirrel...

Photography: Newgale beach, Wales using Hoya ProND 500 filter
After the disaster of smashing my Lee filter, I went to my Hoya ProND500 filter. First time I have really used filters for landscape photography. Love the clouds and skies using them.
Photography: Newgale beach, Wales
Newgale beach on a sunny day, kite flyers were out in full force.
Took this shot with a Lee ND Grad filter (just before a gust of wind knocked over my camera and smashed the filter and chipped the lens :( wasn't happy). Luckily this shot sweetened the blow

Photography; the Wedding photographer
Wedding photography.... having taken the photos at two weddings, I really wanted to brush up my skills, speak to a professional wedding photographer and others in the field. It was a great day, met so many like minding people and Adam Riley was our master - giving us his top tips on wedding photography - the do's and don'ts, what works for him and what doesn't. Then speaking to other photographers who have either wedding photography businesses or those who are looking to get into it.
Our models were brilliant, patient and very photogenic (always helpful)..... from the 2 hours photo shot and a couple of hours post processing these are my highlights for the day.... all set ready for the next big day.... :)
