Photography: Kent Countryside & Hever Castle

Visit to Hever Castle, the gardens are stunning even in the winter time. We even got free admittance to the Castle (special offer today). Love this photo of the lake, brings back memories from the triathlon I took part in here a couple of years ago...

A cheeky sunset shot on the way home, wow Kent looks stunning

The draw bridge at Hever Castle.... won't it be great to have one of these at home!! ha ha

Photography: Whitstable & Herne Bay, Kent

Whitstable and Herne Bay, gorgeous day, blue skies, wee bit chilly. Out with new lens 16mm-35mm - which is awesome.
(If you go Whitstable highly recommend the cheese shop)

WHITSTABLE, KENT

Dramatic skies, follow the path

Saw this seaweed in a pile of rubbish washed up on the pavement

This photo leant itself to black and white, really liked the colour of the rust but preferred how the monochrome brought out the texture instead

Nature is stunning - the colours and formation on this shell

These oyster shells get thrown back into the sea

Cute...

HERNE BAY, KENT

Walking along the pier, the hut shutters had some really funny drawings... some of my favourites below.... these would make great picture postcards.

Photography: Deers at Knole Park, Sevenoaks, Kent

Boxing Day stroll at Knole Park, Kent. Knole Park is one of the few deer-parks in England to have survived the last 500 years! Great how you can see and be so close to the deer.

Out for a run...

Next time I'll visit when it's open!!
